Who and what is Oberon Jewellery?

Hi, Oberon Jewellery is me, Sarah Brook-Hayes and Oberon Jewellery is my tiny company based here in the UK.

I am a completely self taught jewellery designer and I am learning all the time, teaching myself as I go along.
I make unique one off items mainly from fine silver which is produced from firing silver clay and also work in sterling silver, no two pieces are ever the same. Sometimes I push the boat out and use copper, brass and even gold. I do love a bit of mixed metals.
I create hand crafted bespoke pieces, many of which are special commissions, making future heirlooms.

I do it all here at my work bench in my bay window at home surrounded by my slightly bonkers life. 3 cats, multiple tiny fish, one ever growing son and a very tolerant husband ( said workbench is in the front room!)

On top of all of that the fine silver/silver clay gives each component a little eco twist as it is produced from recycled silver, I also use eco silver for the sterling silver and often recycle my own silver. So whilst indulging yourself you are helping Mother Earth.

All items are shipped in my own handmade packaging, so if you are buying a gift you don't even need to wrap it
(good for some of those men out there I think!).

Why Oberon Jewellery?

Oberon was King of the Faeries in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream,
he was also a very special cat that shared a brief time in our lives.

The name embodied the special feeling that I hope my jewellery creates for each wearer.
Dream a little dream… and carry it with you.

Please take your time and have a look around the rest of the site and let me know what you think.
and hopefully find yourself an individual, exclusive piece of jewellery.

Thank you
Sarah x
